Govind and Sharon Wedding was conducted during the Rainy Seasons of August 2019, We had a total of 8-9 Months of preparation before the D-day.

We had to start from scratch from the Venue Selection to all the minute details of the wedding were under our observation; Mr. Sebastian (Sharon’s father) had first contacted us stating that he had a desire to conduct his daughter’s wedding in Kumarakom. At first, no Venue was decided, many Venues and properties were brought up during our first sketch, but there were many obstacles as we had to consider many points such as facilities, travel , accommodation etc. Finally after thorough research Lake Song Resort, Kumarakom was finalized as the Destination. As An event management company it was one of our most challenging wedding, firstly Since It was a Hindu-Christian Wedding we had to incorporate both traditions into a Single Day 3 Back to Back Function Event strategy, knowing this was an uphill task we were ready to bear it on our Shoulders.

So As the Planning had begun for the wedding , it was decided the Hindu Traditional Wedding would be conducted first thing in the morning in the Lawn area of the resort, Not Forgetting the Rainy Season , we decided to tackle it by setting up Transparent Tent. At first, the Client was skeptical of the idea as there were doubts on how we would be able to pull it off, But we Team Shaadhi keep no doors closed and Doubts uncleared, We created our 3D Design on the entire setup from the Transparent tent, Pathway all the way to the Mandap and cleared all areas of doubts and distress for the client. Also to avoid any difficulties which may be caused by the rain we also created a ramp throughout the lawn area. In an orderly manner we were able to execute all the Functions back to back keeping bot h traditions intact.

But No wedding coordination is successful without the Co-operation of the client, Mr Sebastian was in awe after the event as he was able to receive more than what was promised, There were lot of meetings in Kumarakom as well as in Dubai with his Family.

The Christian Wedding was conducted after the Morning function with a western flavor. After both the functions had ended, the expected rain had arrived, but by then the guest had occupied the banquet Hall for our third function the Reception. The Added Rain effect that graced us during the final moments was a cherry to the cake for a day that ended with so many colors and we Team Shaadhi would never forget this moment as it was an event for us to cherish as well.
