Walking down the aisle towards the altar of the church to say “I do” in a beautiful white wedding gown is the dream of any Christian bride.

Iris’ dream became a reality when she put on her favourite wedding gown and walked down the aisle to say I do.As every bride wants, she wanted her wedding to be the best. After her hunt for a wedding planner, she chose ShaadHi Wedding Management to design and plan her wedding.

The planning began with choosing a theme for her wedding, as Iris was keen on having green foliage and a fountain just to give a garden look for the hotel decor, and we suggested Gardenia as the best option for her big day. She also specified an English theme for the church decor with a blend of white and green, and we finalized all the plans well in advance.

On the wedding day, the church decor, starting from the welcome board, entrance arch, and aisle decor, was set based on an English theme as per Iris’s wish. As the bride walked down the aisle with her father, all eyes were on her, as she was looking stunning in her beautiful white wedding gown. To have a complete English wedding look, the bride was accompanied by bridesmaids and flower girls. After reaching the altar, the bride’s father handed over his loving daughter to Jerin, the groom, which symbolizes that Jerin should take care of his daughter throughout her life. The couple, after taking their vows, headed towards the doorpost of the church and released bunches of hydrogen balloons into the air as part of their celebration.

After church, Jerin and Iris went to the Grand Hyatt Kochi for the wedding reception, which had a beautiful and elegant Gardenia theme.The entire décor was blended with a garden theme, with pastel hues and a beautiful water fountain in the center to give a complete feel of the garden. Each décor item was synched with the garden theme. The welcome board was decorated with their pictures and love quotes based on their relationship. The hotel lobby was completely decorated with fresh flowers, and the pathway or aisle decoration included customized flower stands.The ramp for the stage was customized with the hashtag #GerinxIris4ever and the first letter of the names of the bride and groom. The dinner for the guests was arranged in a western style, with a thank-you card for each guest. We also ensured the guests’ safety and hygiene by spraying the entire venue with disinfectant.The traditions of the reception were also based on English traditions like cake cutting, raising the toasts, and some of the dance sessions, not forgetting to include the Indian tradition of lighting the lamp.
